Without fail, cell phone cables always seem to die after a year or two. It doesn’t matter whether you have an Android that uses USB cables or an iPhone that uses lightning cables, they all seem to eventually fray and stop working the way they should.
Luckily, there are a few tricks you can use to make sure they stay in good working order.
Wrap your cord properly. - The main reason why cell phone cables break is because they’re not properly taken care of. You can’t just wrap them up. If you do, the wires inside will bend and eventually break. It’s best to wrap the cable the way it wants to be wrapped. Feel it out as you wrap, and go with the flow.
